Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details Neuro Med / Surg Tele Nurse Need : 3South is a Med / Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center as well as a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). While most patients have a neuro-related diagnosis 3S also serves as a telemetry overflow unit for other patient populations which allows the nurse to practice skills other than neuro. Job Requirements Neurology experience MS / Tele experience Basic EKG testing required and provided by the agency through Prophecy Relias. This exam must be successfully completed before the nurse can attend Orientation. Schedule Information Every other weekend and holiday. 36hrs per week guaranteed. Can offer longer contracts. Can and will be pulled to other units to support hospital needs. Unit Specific Information Unit-Specific Skills Checklist required. For CNAs that are in the Geriatrics or GNA unit, MUST have "Geriatrics" notated on their skills Checklist. This checklist is found in Healthcare source.
