Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Help patients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
- Engage with patients through conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support individuals with dementia care by providing patience and understanding.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals in teaching hospitals and urgent care settings.
- Offer assistance to children or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with geriatrics and providing care for elderly patients is highly valued.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus.
