In Home Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly the elderly and those with special needs. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and providing companionship.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health regimens.
• Support mobility by assisting clients with walking and transferring from bed to chair.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.

Skills

• Experience or knowledge in geriatrics is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, Emergency medicine, Clinics, OR, PICU, Teaching hospitals, Level II Trauma Centers, and Hospital medicine is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour
