Job Description
KBAK / KBFX / KMPH / KFRE has an exciting opportunity for a Promotion Director! The Promotion Director oversees a multi-market regional team of agile content creators, and experts, strengthening branding and engagement efforts for both internal and external clients. This role is responsible for developing team members through training and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and streamlined workflow execution.
Responsibilities include :
- Establish and implement a digital-focused content engagement strategy for multi-platform, multi-stream, and local market use.
- Lead the creation of branding content and lifestyle programming, ensuring alignment with both community and organizational objectives.
- Write, develop, and produce special projects, including multi-market and big-picture campaigns for local, regional, and corporate levels.
- Develop marketing and engagement plans, implement standardized workflows for projects, contests, events, and organizational policies.
- Assign work related to digital news, external clients, and Sinclair Broadcast Group to ensure consistent project delivery and support across teams.
- Oversee a multi-station marketing budget and develop media plans for the region, ensuring resource allocation supports creative content development and campaign execution.
- Producing, writing, editing, and shooting skills. This is a hands-on creative management position.
- Multi-market team management requires travel between Bakersfield and Fresno for in-person meetings, team building and community events.

The base salary compensation range for this role if $85,392.80 to $106,741.00. Final Compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
