With a wide network of stations across the country, Sinclair, Inc. is creating a new content hub to bridge our local communities to their favorite stars by celebrating the journey from small town roots to global stardom. Through engaging interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and high-sharable original video franchises, we will highlight the stories behind the stars, showcasing how their hometowns shaped their paths to success.
To help bring this vision to life, we are looking for a multi-faceted creator to join our team with a focus on writing, producing, and editing Entertainment content. In this role you will be working in all mediums, and must have a background pitching and producing a high-volume of creative work for both sites and social. In this role you will be developing and producing highly sharable original content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, must have the storytelling skills to capture the attention of audiences of all ages. To succeed in this role, you must be well-versed in the language of the internet, hyperaware of social trends, and possess the ability to articulate a creative vision.
Only candidates with experience working in and reporting on Entertainment will be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend daily content strategy sessions and pitch ideas for coverage
- Review pre-release materials and propose original digital content inspired by elements of the production
- Attend premieres / events and conduct interviews / capture images
- Shoot / Direct / Edit field productions and in-studio content
- Collaborate with the post-production team and see all edits through to delivery, including the creation of any necessary marketing assets
- Coordinate with national and local news teams on scheduling and distribution of content

The base salary compensation range for this role is $72,000 to $90,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
