**Director, Technology Business Development**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to drive the implementation of new technology-driven business models.
This role involves developing and implementing strategic elements of new business models that leverage our company's technology capabilities.
You will have the opportunity to lead business initiatives, provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and interface with various business functions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the business operations aspects of emerging technology businesses.
- Evaluate technology solutions based on quality, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and fit with business requirements.
- Provide business leadership for proof-of-concept designs to test technology solutions and economic viability.
- Manage strategic planning processes, working with stakeholders to craft and refine product direction and KPIs.
- Offer perspective and thought leadership to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making and priority alignment.
- Manage relationships with key partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with internal shared services to provide additional capabilities in support of strategic objectives.
- Develop and evaluate potential business opportunities, including financial projections, revenue/pricing models, likelihood of success/market fit, and proper leveraging of existing assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate potential strategic partnerships.
- Represent our interests in negotiations with outside parties.
- Conduct independent research into new business opportunities.
- Attract, hire, and manage key business development personnel.
Requirements:
- 10 years of relevant experience from diverse backgrounds and familiarity with multiple industries.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
- Able to solve problems creatively.
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrable history of influencing organizations, working collaboratively, and building relationships with all levels of management.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- The ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
