- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the company's goals, including enhancements in investor relations, capital markets activities, and financial planning.
- Oversee corporate finance functions such as treasury, accounting, tax, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards.
- Engage with the Board of Directors, Wall Street investors, and industry conferences to articulate the company's strategic vision, competitive advantages, and financial strengths.
- Help structure mergers and acquisitions, asset swaps, and divestitures, from inception through integration or separation and financing, aligning with strategic growth initiatives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Proactively manage financial risks, ensure adherence to financial regulations, and maintain impeccable standards of corporate governance.
- Spearhead the adoption of advanced financial technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Manage and strategically direct the company's philanthropic efforts, aligning them with our corporate values and community commitments.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA) or professional certifications (CPA, CFA) are highly preferred. At least 15 years in progressive financial roles, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions, most recently in a publicly listed company.
