Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Network and Operations Manager to join our innovative team. This role offers hands-on experience with advanced technologies and building systems, directly contributing to our sustainable project success. Responsibilities:
- Travel to worksites to commission sustainable DC systems.
- Build and maintain PoE building system networks.
- Troubleshoot network and control system issues using tools like Wireshark, Fluke meters, and voltmeters.
- Communicate project updates and support information clearly with team members.
- Perform in-office product pre-commissioning, testing, and integration evaluation.
- Manage and organize incoming pre-commissioning products.
- Provide in-person and/or remote technical support and assist with system upgrades for existing projects.
- Participate in ongoing training for various DC technologies.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in related fields.
- Background in networking and low-voltage systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in networking and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites throughout the year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience with conventional low-voltage systems.
- Cisco CCNP/CCNA and/or BICSI Installer/Technician certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary: $80,000.00 (negotiable and competitive based on skills and experience).
