Sinclair Digital is looking for an enthusiastic individual that’s willing to grow and be part of an emerging tech company that focuses on advanced systems for sustainable built environments. As a Systems Designer, we are looking for someone that is willing to learn the in’s and out’s of DC low voltage system design to implement full technology drawing sets to share with clients and other design professionals.
To be successful in this position, you should have an understanding of the conventional construction process and drawing standards, a background in low voltage or electrical design work, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with other participating project members.
Base Salary: $80,000.00 (negotiable and competitive based upon skills and experience)
Systems Designer Responsibilities:
- Implementation of DC low voltage design drawings including plans, RCPS, detail sheets, MDF/IDF plans and elevations, and enlarged drawings
- Creation of complete Bill of Materials for design solutions
- Work in collaboration with the other System’s Designers to select the appropriate solutions for different clients
- Create technical documentation needed for new Sinclair Digital Products including detail drawings for specification sheets and other related documents
- Coordination of multiple projects and tasks at the same time
Systems Designer Requirements:
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Previous experience working in the low voltage or electrical fields
- AutoCAD Proficiency
- Ability to understand and interpret Architectural and Electrical Construction Drawings
- Project Management Experience
- Authorized to work in the United States without restriction
Preferred:
- Degree in a technical field and/or related work certifications
- Revit Proficiency
- RCDD Accreditation
- Work experience in Low Voltage DC Systems
