Job Title: Quality Technician - First Article Inspection
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for conducting First Article Inspections and documenting the results. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct First Article Inspections on all new products and document the results
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications
- Identify and report any non-conformances or quality issues
- Work closely with production teams to ensure that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections and quality control activities
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software programs

Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Creation of AS9102C FAI using SolidWorks Inspection Expert and PC DEMIS reports and physical inspection.
2. Knowledge of Solid Works.
3. Cross check customer drawings to with Sinclair drawings.
4. Report on CMM inspection of and completed assemblies.
5. Work with other departments (engineering, CNC, CMM) to resolve issues related customer drawings and requirements.
6. Ability to enter and retrieve information from an ERP system.
7. Advanced mechanical inspection.
8. Maintain inspection records on Sinclair LAN and hardcopy.
9. Ensure all paperwork is signed and up to date with correct revisions.
10. Understand CAD drawings and understanding of GD&T.
11. Use of microscope and inspection equipment.
12. Use of vision inspection equipment, Keyence, Smart Scope, and X ray.
13. Maintain calibration system (Gage track) by running monthly reports and preforming calibration on handheld instruments and work with calibration vendors for outside calibration.
14. Preform internal audits in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
15. Support inspectors by providing required documentation to be sent to customers with shipment.
16. Support CMM as a backup.
17. Become familiar with Sinclair’s QMS requirements as they relate to the Quality Assurance Dept. and this position.

Education and/or Experience: Associate degree, or equivalent knowledge/experience. Knowledge of blueprint reading, measurement equipment and computer skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand business correspondence as it relates to the job function and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to information from Sinclair personnel.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concept.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, talk, and listen. The employee frequently is required to walk and carry product. The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs while carrying a load of 10 pounds. Employee will use hands and fingers to feel, squeeze, grip product and tools. The employee is required to push/pull and reach above shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
