Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Professional. This role involves developing relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their operations, and providing solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Relationship Building
- Represent the company in sales activities, maintaining market share leadership and expanding customer base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with producers by understanding their operation and being an asset in the cab.
- Create and present material to support the customer's decision-making process.
- Customer Service and Support
- Prospect and work to convert customers to Sinclair Tractor while maintaining current purchasing relationships.
- Meet and respond to customer needs in a professional and timely manner.
- Accurately maintain customer information lists, contacts, and sales activities through CRM software.
- Planning and Execution
- Plan ahead for productive call activity and intended results.
- Know and follow a defined sales process and departmental core processes.
- Prepare sales contracts for obtained orders and submit them for processing.
Requirements:
- Experience and Skills:
- At least 3 years of successful sales experience selling ag equipment or working with related equipment is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural application equipment and farming practices is desired.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Education:
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business or agriculture-related field is preferred.
