This position is in our batch area, which sandblasts and paints differing parts such as wheels, car parts, metal furniture, metal signs, etc. The blaster operator will operate the sandblasting portion of the process. They will be responsible for ensuring that parts are ready for paint according to a predetermined schedule.
Responsibilities Include:
Load parts on a rack, sandblast, and prepair for paint.
Operate forklift.
Assist with warehouse, shipping and packaging department as needed.
Follow all plant safety rules.
Report any breakdown or potential breakdown to Supervisor.
Wear all required safety equipment and report any unsafe conditions or acts.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to comprehend and produce written and verbal directions.
Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations.
No experience required. We will train.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
