Sinco is looking for a Quality control technician that is willing to grow with our company and be part of our team.
Job Overview
The quality control technician would be responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to customer provided part specifications (prints, and or, DXF). Quality control technicians test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met. Quality control technicians work on a variety of parts from simple to highly complex and many different material types and finishes.
Additional responsibilities for Quality Control Technician
- Develop and maintain inspection reports as requested by quality manager.
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
- Perform inspections across all stages of production
- Prepare and maintain test data for review
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency to quality manager
Qualifications for Quality Control Technician
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Blueprint reading
- Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience
- Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, metric conversation to standard.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
- Ability to use micrometers, height gage, calipers, tape measure and filler gages.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
