The Financial Analyst I will play a key role in the financial reporting for a leading food service equipment and supplies distribution company. This individual will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining a suite of reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and providing actionable insights to improve performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with an operational mindset to support decision-making and ensure operational excellence
- Responsible for Monthly Commission reports
- Responsible for Quarterly Sales Bonus calculations
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports
- Monthly KPI’s
- Monthly financial performance reporting
- Variance Analysis actual vs budget/forecast/prior year
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on report development as needed including optimization of existing reports
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and annual planning process
- Provide support to senior financial analysts and managers
- Assist with Ad Hoc requests as needed
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related Business Field
- 0-4 years of relative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excel knowledge of pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, if statements
- BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) a plus
- Strong Communication both oral and written
- Teamwork: comfortable working across teams to support various roles and departments
- Critical thinking and analytical individual
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reports
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with financial databases and reporting tools
