Overview
The Lead Installer is responsible for managing and executing the installation of food service equipment at client sites. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Delivery and installation of various kitchen equipment and supplies locally and nationwide.
- Taking direction from others to complete the job and good communication with the General Contractor on-site
- Must lead other installers in a helper role to be productive and to follow the standards of the company to complete the job.
- Moving heavy objects and working with power tools
- Communicating directly with customers and with our project managers is critical for the successful execution of the job.
- Some warehouse work and building maintenance are required on rare occasions.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some overnight travel may be required
- Physical abilities including heavy lifting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting required
- Able to work on construction sites, operational kitchens and cafeterias, warehouses and loading docks.
- Mechanically inclined – proficient use of power hand tools is required.
- Preferred skills: construction, electrical, plumbing, forklift/lull certified, stainless steel welding and polishing
- Team player, reliable, dependable, and willing to work.
- Experience with company emailing and use of a smartphone.
- Must have an acceptable driving record and active driver's license to be insurable to be able to drive a company truck.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, personable, presentable, and articulate
