In this dual-role position, you will combine inside sales support with hands-on warehouse tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations. What you’ll do :
- Inside Sales Support :
- Handle customer requests for quotes, order processing, and follow-up communication.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers at the service counter, answering questions and guiding product selection.
- Support outside sales efforts with quotes, expedited orders, and sample requests.
- Assist in managing customer on-site inventory and replenishment programs.
- Warehouse & Fabrication Tasks :
- Perform fabrication duties such as cutting hoses, sheet rubber, and gasket materials to specifications.
- Build hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, ensuring accuracy and meeting manufacturer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, crimpers, Bandit, saws, and other necessary machinery.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to company safety protocols.
- Prepare and label outbound materials with appropriate shipping information.
- Perform daily maintenance on warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Customer Service & Operations Support :
- Serve customers at the service counter with excellent customer service.
- Assist with stocking shelves and filling customer orders.
- Perform in-process inspections and enter work order data accurately.
- Communicate workflow issues and equipment needs to the team.
- May assist in training new employees.
- Multitask efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
