Job Summary:
A Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a warehouse. The successful candidate will supervise the warehouse team, ensure accurate distribution of inventory, oversee cycle counts, and strive to improve current processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead warehouse team and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees’ skills
- Ensure all incoming shipments are accurate, inspected for defects, and received in a timely manner.
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure sales orders are accurately and timely picked, packaged, and shipped.
- Oversee cycle counts, review, and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Schedule and manage deliveries to sister branches.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in warehouse management.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency with warehouse management systems, WMS.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment.
