Optical or manufacturing experience not required but is strongly preferred.

We are seeking a candidate who is:
- Enjoys to work independently
- Able to operate optical equipment from digital surfacing lines and multi-axis edgers.
- Able to properly mount and quality check a pair of eyeglasses.
- Lensometer experience a plus.
- Able to use proper calibration techniques for equipment.
- A general mechanical understanding.
- Able to stand and work on their feet for the entire shift.
- Ambitious to learn new skills.
- Detail oriented and the ability to do a task correctly, even if it isn't the fastest way
- Communicate with coworkers
- Handle optical frames with care
- Treat others with respect and a team first attitude
- Works well with their hands and assembling optical eyeglasses with care
- Lift up to 40 lbs
- Properly maintain and clean their machines and communicate when supplies are needed.
M-F 8:00 to 4:30pm, firm. No weekends or holidays. No overtime or required extra hours.
