Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst I will play a key role in the financial reporting for a leading food service equipment and supplies distribution company. This individual will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining a suite of reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and providing actionable insights to improve performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with an operational mindset to support decision-making and ensure operational excellence
Responsible for Monthly Commission reports
Responsible for Quarterly Sales Bonus calculations
Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports
Monthly KPI’s
Monthly financial performance reporting
Variance Analysis actual vs budget / forecast / prior year
Collaborate with cross functional teams on report development as needed including optimization of existing reports
Support the budgeting, forecasting and annual planning process
Provide support to senior financial analysts and managers
Assist with Ad Hoc requests as needed
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related Business Field
0-4 years of relative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excel knowledge of pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, if statements
BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) a plus
Strong Communication both oral and written
Teamwork : comfortable working across teams to support various roles and departments
Critical thinking and analytical individual
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reports
Knowledge of data analysis techniques
Familiarity with financial databases and reporting tools
