Job Title: Associate Executive Director
Position Summary: The Associate Executive Director is a position in which high potential associates
participate in an extensive training in order to be prepared to be a strong Executive Director for our
communities. This position consists of three main phases: departmental training, goal setting and
completion, and applied experience. Associate Executive Directors report to the Regional Director of
Operations and work closely with discipline specific Regional Directors to ensure full knowledge of each
department. Our Associate Executive Director role is a highly visible role across many different
communities and allows for strong personal and professional growth.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Complete a rotational training program within each department, across different communities.
• Fulfill any assigned tasks in all departments within our communities, including Administrative,
Resident Care, Dining, Environmental Services, and Marketing.
• Work closely with the discipline specific Regional Directors to ensure a smooth training process.
• Pass departmental exams before advancing into the next department.
• Complete goals and projects as assigned by the Regional Director of Operations, such as
assisting communities with state regulations, sales and marketing initiatives, state awards,
overtime reduction, etc.
• Step into an open Department Head or Executive Director role within a community on a
temporary basis in order to gain applied experience.
• Work with our main office on rolling out new initiatives.
• Assist with all other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Operations.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hospitality, Business Administration, Communication, HR, Social
Work, or a similar discipline.
• 2 years of management and customer service experience, preferably within a Senior Living or
Hospitality environment.
• Comfort and passion for working with an elderly population.
• Ability to travel within the state on a rotational basis.
Physical Requirements:
• Constant use of manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills and gross motor skills with frequent
use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, squat, kneel, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements including simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine
manipulation.
