A growing Kendall-based benefits enrollment company is seeking a candidate for an in-office, entry level support position to join their Team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to be responsible for eligibility management for additions and terminations on certain insurance coverages.
As an Eligibility Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of eligibility determinations in an office setting. Your core skills in data entry, administrative support, and office experience will be essential in managing employee applications and communications.
The job requires excellent written/oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize/evaluate data. Relevant experience working with a medical insurance carrier will provide a well-rounded perspective, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our team. Responsibilities:
- Application Review: Analyze and verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted information to support eligibility determination.
- Ongoing Follow Up: Maintain and manage individual employee's application status, ensuring timely and accurate updates to their insurance coverage.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to eligibility determination and enrollment.
- Communication: Communicate application status with employee, HR, and Broker. Provide updates, and resolve any eligibility-related inquiries as needed.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain applicant information in the company's Benefits Administration, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Create Cross-Training Materials: Document established processes on eligibility criteria, procedures, and best practices.
