Sales Representative - New York City

Position Summary:
SingleCut Beersmiths is looking for a motivated ROCKSTAR / Sales Representative to join our talented and dedicated team. Our culture is a team-oriented meritocracy encouraging involvement with all aspects of our premium brand including SKUs to populate our release calendar, beer concepts, event planning and fulfillment, recipe ideas, and more - essentially there is no ceiling. Creative, passionate, responsible self-starters (preferably with an interest in music and beer culture) will experience a very rewarding and supportive home at our brewery. Specifically, this position is responsible for servicing and growing market share for SingleCut in Manhattan with occasional time spent in North New Jersey. This role requires heavy prospecting and reliance on the ability to build and cultivate strong relationships in a highly competitive market.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Seek, develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and retailers both on- and off-premise
• Work with Sales Director to implement sales strategy and achieve sales goals
• Visit a minimum of 10 accounts per day
• Schedule Ride Alongs with distribution partners
• Update calendar of market events (festivals, tastings, etc.) and share with leadership team
• Establish and monitor quality control standards within the market
• Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, sales data tools, changes in climate, competitive activity and special promotional activities. Maintain all required information in mobility units.
• Participate in Inventory & Forecasting calls with Sales Director
• Ability to coordinate brand information, supply POS material, and keep lines of communication open with the state's wholesaler network in order to better sell through products
• Must assist with out-of-market promotions, events and festivals on evenings and weekends as necessary
• Attend selected festivals and events such as but not limited to tastings and promotions
• Must be willing to drive and travel frequently

Physical Conditions and Nature of Work Contacts

• Involves walking, lifting, stooping, reaching and carrying objects weighing 50lbs routinely, occasional lifting of 100-150lbs
• Frequent use of latches, hand tools, clamps, hoses, etc., requiring manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination when setting up equipment
• Possibility of work in hot/cold and wet environments that requiring twisting, bending, pulling, and pushing in tight areas
• Activity involving overhead extended arms weightbearing

Job Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in Sales or Promotions in the craft beer industry experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of Age
• Must have Valid Driver’s License
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrable time management and organizational skills.
• Competency in basic computer applications; Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with VIP iDig & Karma Notes a plus
• Must be legally qualified to work in the United States

Compensation

$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year based on experience
$1000 monthly spending allowance
