We looking for an experienced Tier 2 Support Specialist to join our team.


Based in Columbus, OH, we are the premier provider of IT services for small and mid-sized businesses throughout central Ohio. Successful candidates will be comfortable working on a wide range of projects in a variety of environments, both in office and at client sites. The ability to troubleshoot technical challenges with forward-thinking solutions is key. Candidates must be able to clearly communicate technical concepts, both in person and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure and support end-user equipment (Laptops, PCs, and peripherals)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to: Desktop / Laptops, Servers, Networking and software.
  • Support end-user peripherals such as desk phones and mobile devices
  • Maintain inventories of hardware, and software licensing
  • Work with vendors supporting systems related to end-user support
  • Support client processes for on-boarding and off-boarding employees
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation
  • Documenting client interactions within our ticket system

Required Skills

  • 3 years Windows Desktop troubleshooting and support
  • Ability to install, configure, support Microsoft Windows 7, 8, & 10 as well as compatible applications
  • Experience with Anti-Virus software and EDR
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and how to troubleshoot
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows AD, DNS, and DHCP
  • Solid Customer Service skills including great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Solid experience installing, configuring, supporting, Microsoft Windows 10, and 11 as well as compatible applications

Valued Experience

  • Experience with tablets, Android and iOS
  • Security Information/Event Management solution experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 installation and configuration
