Overview
We are seeking an Access Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security systems and be proficient in utilizing various tools and technologies to ensure the safety and security of our facilities. We are willing to train eager to learn persons. Although we specialize in Access Control employees are to be able to do anything involving low voltage.
Applications Process
- This contract currently being worked on requires a in-depth background check. Fingerprinting is required after initial background check is completed. This requires potential employees to pay 48.95 to get fingerprints which will be reimbursed to you if approved. If you have issues on your background please do not waste your time or money. Again only approved employees will be reimbursed.
What to expect working for us
- We work from 3pm to 12am
- We install access control and surveillance camera systems for the current client.
- We travel 100% of the time unless you're in the current city we're working in.
- For the current client we work 40 hours, no overtime is permitted.
- We work in schools around staff and students.
- All employees are permitted to 60 day probationary period as a 1099 contractor. After 60 days employee will be W2 employee.
Rules
- No harassment of any type is permitted.
- All tools are required first day of employment.
- No smoking of any type on any of our sites. (cigarettes, vapes, etc)
- Employees are not permitted to talk to any school personnel.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair access control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with access control systems
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of security systems
- Provide technical support for field service technicians
- Utilize remote access software to manage security systems
Experience
- Experience with power tools and hand tools for installation and maintenance
- Certification in access control systems is a plus
- Ability to detect and resolve electrical issues
- Familiarity with cabling for network connections
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and their operation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
