What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Attendant position at Singleton Marine - Lake Keowee Vinyards?
Looking for a great way to spend summer? Here it is! Come join us for some fun in the sun on Lake Keowee at Vineyards Marina located in the the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards. This Full-Time Seasonal job puts you on the water for the summer. You'll help people get the most out of lake days by driving boats between the docks and ramp, fueling boats, and sending them out on the water in our rental boats and seeing their smiles when they return.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties (Most Important to Least Important)
Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner providing an excellent customer experience.
Assist customers with boat rentals, provide departure and return instructions as well as safety information, along with operating instructions and local information.
Assist customers with fueling their boats, as well as moving boats between docks and boat ramp.
Appropriately demonstrates the proper use of equipment to customers as needed.
Report any damage or concerns about the boats or equipment to management.
Follow all safety and compliance regulations, with daily inspections to ensure safe conditions for staff and customers.
Complete all other tasks as requested by management.
SKILLS
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Knowledge of boating safety procedures.
- Proficient swimmer.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a marina, boating, or hospitality environment is appreciated but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and valid boating license.
