SENIOR PARALEGAL
JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, critical thinking Senior Paralegal with a desire to help others to join our brand-new office Jackson, MS on the Personal Injury team. This position is fast-paced and supports a team of attorneys performing regular litigation in state and federal courts. It will involve collaboration with other paralegals and assistants.
This position will be based in our Jackson, MS office.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
$34.00-$44.00/hour
Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Duties will include:
- Communicating regularly with clients and obtaining their documents.
- Court filings, document management and review, propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and similar tasks.
- Assisting in management of deadlines.
- Management of electronic information, document management, and document review including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and searching in complex litigation.
- Assisting attorneys in developing case facts and strategies.
- Creation of privilege logs.
- Preparing trial exhibits.
- Assisting at hearings and trials.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must possess a paralegal certificate or meet the Bus. & Prof. Code § 6450 requirements.
- 5 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, preferably Personal Injury
- Familiarity with working up cases from pre-litigation to post-trial motions.
- Ability to draft client and opposing counsel correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents under attorney
- Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as, Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal.
- A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
- This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
