Job Overview
Sinkers Lounge is Kansas City's first Mini Golf Lounge. Our mission is to make easy for guests to have fun through shared experiences. Our location in the Power & Light district attracts locals, conventions, tourists, etc. and we strive to have a dynamic team capable of accommodating them.
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent mixology skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing outstanding service to our patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
At the end of the day, ensuring our guests have fun is our #1 priority.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; restock as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the restaurant or food service industry.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with patrons.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Applicant must be 18 years or older
• Food service knowledge - SERVSAFE will be required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, exceeding 4 hrs
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs overhead

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Evenings and weekends
• Compensation:$18-$25 including tips
• Benefits available for Full-Time employees
• Primarily evening shifts
• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
