Hometown is excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our team at our Hometown Healthy Living Store in Chillicothe, MO. We are seeking an energetic, hard-working individual for a part-time Medical Equipment Delivery Technician. Must be able to work weekdays with some weekends and on-call. Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass background check, and drug screen.
The ideal candidate shall demonstrate strong communication skills, strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and professionalism. Technicians are expected to be clean cut, friendly and compassionate as they will have daily interactions with patients and referral sources. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently. Job Duties:
Responsible for setting up medical equipment in the patient’s home in a professional and safe manner.
Complete appropriate paperwork for the setup.
Teach the patient about the safe and proper use of equipment.
Make routine deliveries and pick up of medical equipment and supplies for existing patients.
Perform minor equipment repairs.
Responsible for keeping vehicle clean, organized and maintained.
Clean dirty equipment as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent, Good command of the English language, Legible handwriting, Good personal hygiene and appearance
