The Community Based Clinician is responsible for clinical treatment of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric issues in our Community. We want people to join our team who share our values of love, excellence, respect, empowerment, and well-being. The ideal candidate will work with individuals across the lifespan with a wide array of issues, including mental and behavioral health diagnoses. We believe in providing trauma-informed, evidence-based care to treat the whole person. This position is responsible for providing behavioral health treatment, including assessments, counseling, and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Services are provided in residential treatment, home, school, and community settings in order to best meet the needs of the individuals served.
Objectives
- Apply a trauma-sensitive, collaborative approach to clients’ recovery
- Develop an individualized treatment plan for each client
- Document information which consistently supports diagnoses from clinical assessment and treatment plan
- Performs direct care services as needed to meet contractual obligations and budgetary performance expectations.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write effective and compelling correspondence to support position and/or recommendations.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- QMHP Credentials
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 2-5 years experience with mental health services preferred
