Sinnissippi Centers is looking to hire a qualified and passionate individual to join our Substance Use Prevention & Recovery (SUPR) Recovery Support Specialist team in a Team Lead capacity. The SUPR Peer Team Lead is responsible for mentoring SUPR Recovery Support Specialists, monitoring CRSS progression, ensuring SUPR 2060 rules are carried out, and supporting the growth of the program while learning leadership skills for career development. Additionally, this position will support the Recovery Navigator who is assisting with inpatient referrals. They also will provide direct services to our clients in the SUPR program.
This is a full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday position based out of our Dixon Route 2 office.
Responsibilities
- Market SUPR Recovery Support Services
- Assigning and follow up on all referrals
- Monitor caseloads and ensure timely service delivery
- Consultations with RSS staff
- Warm transitions from Recovery Homes to community for better continuity of care
- Assisting with higher LOC needs such as inpatient care
- Ensure CRSS trajectory for each staff is on track for credentialing
- Provide direct services
Requirements
- Lived experience as a consumer of mental health services
- GED or higher education.
- Public speaking and communication skills
- Experience either as a consumer of or facilitator of groups
- Ability to utilize computer for service documentation.
- Teaching skills, non-judgmental personality, and empathic listening skills.
- Valid driver license / current automobile liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage.
- Current CRSS
- WRAP Certification or Desire to pursue WRAP Certificate
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.

Pay: $22.47 - $26.06 per hour
