We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic and growing team in Houston, Texas. This is an entry-level full-time position, offering the opportunity to build a career in sales and account management within the biotech industry. You will work closely with a supportive team, leveraging collaboration and communication to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.

Job Type: Full-time (Onsite Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Territory Support & Quotes: Take care of quotes for territories missing representatives, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client needs.

• Prospecting & Scheduling Meetings: Prospect new clients and schedule meetings for Field Application Scientists (FAS) and Territory Account Managers (TAM). This may include working on a designated list of prospects provided internally.

• Sales Data Analysis: Conduct analysis on sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• LSE Shows: Attend Life Science Exhibitions (LSE) when needed, providing on-site support and engaging with potential clients.

• Client Engagement & Sales Support: Identify and engage potential clients, leveraging scientific expertise to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services.

• Present reagents and contract research services effectively, collaborate with internal teams for seamless order fulfillment, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

• Achieve and surpass sales targets while staying updated on industry trends and competitors to adapt sales strategies.

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team objectives and business needs, including but not limited to assisting with cross-functional projects and ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of molecular and cell biology concepts, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for effective engagement with researchers.

• Previous junior-level sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals, preferably involving reagents and contract research services.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field preferred.

• Occasional travel required to various cities in the U.S. for trade shows.

• Must be able to lift and move 25-50 lbs.

• Must be based in or within commutable distance to Houston, Texas.
