What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Engineer position at Sinto America Inc?
Roberts Sinto Corporation (RSC), a well-established manufacturing and engineering corporation headquartered in Grand Ledge, MI, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing customers with product and technical support as needed. Major responsibilities include: Equipment Installation / set-up, inspection, service & maintenance of various product lines in both foundry and automotive plants. The run-off of assorted RSC Foundry automated equipment (green sand application) as well as specialized conveyor systems for the automotive industry. Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external customers and positively representing RSC’s interest at the customer plant is imperative.
Qualified applicants will have a certificate from a technical school; 4 years of service and or maintenance experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with automotive plants a plus. Both international & domestic travel is required and can be considerable at times. Must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of hydraulic, and pneumatics, electrical and PLC literacy. Effective communication with both internal and external customers is essential.
