Roberts Sinto is currently seeking a Pre-Assembler to join our Team in Grand Ledge, MI

What You Will Do

Pre- Assembly is responsible for producing sub-assembly of company products.

General

·       Responsible for assembling sub-assemblies per engineering drawings.

·       Delivers parts to the parent job for assembly.

·       Disassembly and tagging of equipment for shipping. Loading equipment to trucks for shipping.

·       Utilizing tolerancing and fitment

·       Operate the MRP/ERP system in order to locate parts and jobs

·       Use of basic precision measurement tools; calipers, micrometers, miscellaneous gauges, etc.

What We Want From You

·       Minimum of High School diploma and/or equivalent.

·       2-4 years of experience in machine building/part building

·       Mechanical inclination

·       Blueprint Reading experience

·       Previous assembly work in a production facility/role

·       Basic Computer knowledge, Microsoft suite, ERP experience required

·       Good work ethic and independent problem solving skills

·       Ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 

·       Ability to analyze and resolve basic problems. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

·       While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or equipment, and talk and hear.  The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

·       While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, extremes of heat and cold, and risk of electrical shock.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
