This is an excellent opportunity for an allergy technician/medical assistant who is looking for a full time position, Monday - Friday. This individual must be a self-starter, multitask oriented, motivated, must be able to work in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure.
Requirements
HANDS ON. Comfortable administering shots and performing allergy test. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong Written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians and team members. MUST have EMR experience. Must be current with your certification.
Duties not limited to:
Obtain vital signs
Chart preparation: assuring patient test results are obtained prior to scheduled visit.
Room organization and preparation for in office procedures
Sending medications ordered by physician to pharmacy
In putting medical provider orders and faxing to correct facility
Bilingual: Spanish/English is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
