What You'll Do
- Be the go-to expert across servers, networks, apps, phones, and infrastructure systems.
- Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 techs, helping them grow into Tier 3-level problem solvers.
- Maintain and enhance system performance—including backups, automation, and hypervisors.
- Shape the future of IT at Sioux Chief by working closely with leadership to align tech strategies with business goals.
- Lead infrastructure efforts across remote facilities and sister companies.
- Implement best-in-class security practices and system improvements.
- Champion user support during peak periods to ensure a smooth experience for all.
What We're Looking For:
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS and network systems.
- Proven skills in hardware troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with backups, automation, hypervisors, and system evaluations.
- A security-focused mindset with a proactive approach to improving systems.
- Passion for growth and leadership—this role guides Tier 1 and 2 team members and plays a critical part in setting IT direction.
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Virtualization mastery (VMware, Hyper-V)
- SQL configuration and administration
