We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team at Sioux City Country Club. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting members, and maintaining an efficient flow of service within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome members as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Assist with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and taking reservations as needed.
- Handle To Go Orders.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing member needs promptly and courteously.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and member satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage reservations effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
