Job Overview:
We are seeking Concession Stand workers to join our team at our busy concession stand for the 2024 Sioux City Explorers Season. As a Concession Stand Worker, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the concession stand.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the concession stand
- Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with setup and breakdown of concession stand before and after events
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or concession stand is preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and making change accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift to 15 pounds
