What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Grain Technician - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED position at Sioux City Inspection?
Sioux City Inspection and Weighing Service Agency is a federally licensed grain inspection agency that has been in business for over 30 years with offices in three states.
We have an immediate opening to become a licensed grain technician. No experience is necessary and we provide full training! This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for a contract position with a flexible schedule .
A grain technician works in onsite labs at grain elevators while trains are loading to provide our customers accurate information on the quality of their grain. To provide our customers timely information some shifts can extend to 16 hours or more. Day, night, weekend, and holiday hours are all a possibility based on the loading schedule and your availability.
We are looking for a someone to be based out of the Windom office and work at elevators in that territory. Training will be conducted at the Windom office depending on availability and convenience and the training schedule can be designed for flexible schedules.
