What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Sioux Falls Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel?
Job Summary: Preparing and serving drinks both from behind the bar and on the floor in Frankie's, our on-site lounge located in the Ramkota Hotel. Will also be responsible for taking and delivering food orders. Their may also be some opportunity to work party bars for events held at the hotel.

Responsibilities

Serve tables as determined by management by retrieving and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner

When taking orders, have a complete knowledge of hotel’s food and beverage preparation, menu, and pricing

Interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner

Clear, clean, and prepare tables

When serving alcoholic beverages, observe guest’s behavio when serving alcohol and employ proper procedure if guest is too impaired to drive by suggesting transportation by taxi service

Escalate guest service issues to management if you are unable to resolve

Ensure guests are satisfied during their meal service

Complete daily duties along with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age to work in Frankies Sports Bar and Grill
- Experience preferred but not required - some working knowledge of bartending is a plus

Experience in hospitality preferred

Possess basic math skills and cash-handling

Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
