What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Paint Technician position at Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln?
The paint technician performs painting and refinishing of repaired vehicles to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) factory standards. Maintains high standards for efficiency and observes all safety requirements. Works well both independently and with team members from all departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to keep up with high paced production environment
- Ability to color sand and polish as necessary
- Keep up to date on I-Car and company required certification, training and meet all deadlines
- Maintain product inventory and track material usage
- Work directly with estimator to get all necessary procedures on estimate/supplement and address any concerns
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPR)
- Keep work area clean and cleared of any debris and uphold environmental regulations
- Be willing to answer questions for coworkers, alert of deficiencies in shop and train as necessary
- Be aware of target delivery dates and strive to finish within the timeframe.
