Bachelor's degree and endorsement in the areas of teaching assignment, certification, alternative certification or licensure; current, valid South Dakota teaching certificate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
Special Education Teachers will provide specialized instruction for students with special needs in order for students to achieve their goals established for Extended School Year (ESY) services. ESY services may look different for every child. ESY services are designed to maintain skills already acquired, not to learn new skills, and all specialized instruction and related services provided will reflect the unique instructional needs of each child. Special Education Teachers will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting progress toward identified IEP goals and objectives during the ESY session.
PAY INFORMATION
Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
HOURS & FTE
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
June 17th - 19th, plus June 16th as a work day
June 24th - 26th
Off the week of July 4th
July 8th - 10th
July 15th - 17th
July 22nd - 24th
