POSITION SUMMARY:
The After School Program Driver works approximately 15-25 hours per week driving the YMCA bus and/or van on the various routes picking up and dropping off students in our After School Program. Hours are typically 2:30pm-4:30pm and/or
6:30pm-9:00pm, Monday-Friday. The driver is responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of children in the vehicle(s).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in the program.
2. Drive the YMCA School Bus, Mini Bus, and van on various routes to and from elementary and middle schools in Sioux Falls.
3. Communicate with the After School Program Director and YMCA After School
Program staff daily regarding absences, questions, or concerns about students on the route.
4. Communicate with the After School Program Director and Facilities Director regarding any maintenance concerns with YMCA vehicles.
5. Ensure that all students are respectful of YMCA and school property. And that all school and YMCA rules are being followed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CDL preferred
- CPR/AED certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
- 1 years working with youth preferred
- Desire to contribute to a safe, enriching, and fun After School Program
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting for 1 hours at a time
- Occasional bending, standing, lifting
- Reasonable amount of concentration
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
