What are the responsibilities and job description for the custodian/housekeeping position at Siouxland Community Health Center?
CUSTODIAL/HOUSEKEEPING WORKER 1 - Full-Time
This position is located in South Sioux City, NE and follows the schedule below:
Schedule: 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Thursday and 2:00pm-10:30pm Friday.
We are seeking a candidate with solid experience and advanced knowledge in the following areas:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Computer and data entry skills
- One to two years of specific experience preferred
- Knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
The successful candidate will be able to perform the primary functions of the position, which include:
- Filling and maintaining clinic-wide dispensers
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all areas of the clinic
- Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms
- Performing extra duties on a monthly basis, including deep cleaning of walls, baseboards, lights, vents, etc.
- Vacuuming of office areas and lobbies
- Working as a team player
- Other functions may be assigned
