Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:
Chief Medical Officer
1- Full-time
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
- Physician (MD or DO)
- Board Certified in family practice preferred
- Proficient in the use of EHR and is an advocate for its optimization
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
- Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and the Director’s group.
- Directly supervise all medical providers employed by SCHC, and in such capacity, oversee the quality of care provided to all SCHC patients.
- Direct all credentialing and privileging activities of the medical staff.
- Coordinate mid-level supervision.
- Direct reports to this position would be Physicians (5), Quality Director (1), Midlevel Medical Directors (3), and Clinical Pharmacists (2).
- Serve as Director of Anesthesia Services – Medical
- Serve as Lab Director.
- Establish quality metrics for the medical staff.
- Serve as a member of the Quality Committee of the board, as well as the operations Quality Committee, presenting quarterly reports.
- These functions are not all inclusive.
