What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing/Development/Public Relations Intern position at Siouxland Community Health?
Siouxland Community Health Center has a part-time paid opening (approximately 20 hours per week, flexible hours based on school/class schedules, internship could be eligible for school credit) for:
Marketing/Development/Public Relations Intern
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
- Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
- Ability to learn other software programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
- Assist the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, development, and public relations plans.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising events.
- Assist with emails, newsletters, community presentations, community outreach events, and updating the client information in the fundraising database.
- These functions are not all inclusive
