GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position reports to and works closely with the Sr. Vice-President of Lending. This position manages the branch office staff in providing quality service to members in the areas of teller transactions, new accounts, consumer and mortgage loan applications, and any other service a member may request. This position assists members on a day-to-day basis to provide service and sell Credit Union products. All decisions made by this position must reflect the mission and objectives of the Credit Union and the welfare of its members.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, preserving effective employee relations.
2. Solicit business through any and all possible contacts to increase membership and loans.
3. Retain quality employees to ensure superior customer service.
4. Schedule staff, give performance reviews including coaching, and recommend salary adjustments.
5. Ensure compliance with Federal and State Regulations.
6. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on Branch activity.
7. Solicit, build and maintain relationship with area realtors, builders, and anyone else who may refer business and originate loan applications.
8. Be technically current on all types of real estate loans including but not limited to conventional, portfolio ARM’s, home improvement, home equity and second mortgages.
9. Pre-qualify prospective buyers.
10. Service members for proper customer service. Cross-sell any and all related services.
11. Manage the security and safety of the Branch including the grounds, building, etc.
12. Support and maintain an active role in community affairs and service clubs.
Abilities, Characteristics, Knowledge and Skills, Required:
1. College degree desired with high school diploma and appropriate management and financial experience accepted in lieu of college degree.
2. Knowledge of Credit Union philosophy.
3. Effective communicator, oral and written, public and private.
4. Progressive minded, alert to the local economic conditions.
5. Cares for people and works for the welfare of the members.
6. Experience in managing, administration, mortgage and consumer lending preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
