Overview
Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is seeking an experienced part-time fleet and facility maintenance person. The fleet and facility maintenance person is responsible for maintaining the fleet with the mechanic on repairs, mechanical diagnosis and improvement projects with competitive pay. Use power equipment for snow removal and operate snowplow on shop truck, lawn care, landscaping, and conduct general maintenance of the facility’s internal assets and external grounds. Complete internal maintenance on equipment to include changing filters and greasing bearings. Follow policies, procedures, and programs for the safety of the building and personnel. Maintain orderly storage, inventory, and the adequate levels of supplies. Other related duties will be as assigned by management.
This part-time position, requiring up to 25 hours per week, necessitates a minimum of two years' experience in fleet management and/or facility maintenance. Pre-employment testing is mandatory. The role reports directly to the Facility Director/Transit Director.
