What are the responsibilities and job description for the One-Time Event Bartender! position at Sip Idaho East?
Are you passionate about serving guests in a pleasant and efficient manner? Do you have experience pouring liquor and/or an interest in the adult beverage industry?
We are seeking an individual with a passion for serving liquor, and educating guests on liquor products and brands. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage in a friendly manner with guests, work independently, and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pour Liquor Samples at the Sip Idaho East Liquor Tasting Festival on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, from roughly 3-8pm - Required!
- Bartenders must have one of the following certifications: TIPS, SafeServe, SureSell Now, A Server Education, or a similar Idaho bartending certificate
- (If you do not currently have this, you can take a 2 hour online class, prior to the event. This is required by the host venue.)
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a specific liquor brand's booth space and engage guests
- Educate customers on the specific brand of liquor you will be pouring (You will be assigned a brand ahead of time to study up on, so it is very important to have several key talking points memorized!)
- Ability to set-up and tear down booth space, and help the team load-out, after the event is over
- Must be 21 to quality for this position!
Sip Idaho is Idaho's Premier Liquor Tasting Festival! This is a one-time gig, which occurs annually. For those who love working with us, there is the opportunity to do so each year.
