This individual will specialize in Landlord Apartment buildings and insurance for small urban and mixed-use properties, ensuring accurate underwriting information, determining eligibility, and maintaining well-documented insurance files.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze risk exposures, loss frequency, and severity against desired coverage.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Provide expert advice and solutions to address inquiries and concerns from brokers and team members.
- Ensure adherence to rating rules and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve underwriting efficiencies.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Commercial Package/BOP underwriting.
- Strong understanding of Property and Casualty insurance principles.
- Familiarity with habitational P&C policies highly desirable.
- Commercial Real Estate Insurance expertise advantageous.
