Field Support Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, including networking and mobile devices, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems related to TCP/IP, LAN, and VPN.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of mobile devices and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Utilize Jira for tracking issues and managing service requests.
• Perform system updates and maintenance using SCCM.
• Support Mac OS environments alongside Windows systems.
• Document all support activities accurately in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN, and VPN configurations.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, Jira, and mobile device management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting both Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
